ICE Expo is proud to announce our second official Brand Ambassador for the 2026 event – none other than TV star and construction expert Peter Finn, widely known as Pete the Builder.

A Builder by nature & Carpenter by trade Pete has a passionate advocate for the industry. 

Pete is a familiar face being the Co-presenter on RTÉ’s Home Rescue and a regular on Roon to Improve. Pete is also the voice behind the Behind The Walls podcast, where he shares stories, insights, and innovations from across the construction world.

As Owner and Managing Director of MDS Construction Ltd., Peter has overseen the delivery of high-profile projects including:

Protection & Restoration works on the Old Library at Trinity College Dublin (home to the Book of Kells)

Numerous complex & highly sensitive heritage restorations

Huge amount of High-end residential builds

The relocation of the Fair City film set on the RTÉ campus

His work demonstrates both modern innovation and a deep respect for Ireland’s historic built environment.

Pete is also a proud ambassador for some of the most trusted names in construction, including Snickers Workwear, Festool Ireland, and Tadg Riordan Motors. His energy, experience, and love for building have earned him a reputation as one of Ireland’s leading voices in construction.

Speaking about his new role with ICE Expo, Peter said:
